absolutely, you can replace it with a few different things. The idea is to get a certain “bite”… so try lemon juice or the pickling liquid from proper dill pickles (not the ones marinated in vinegar, you need the ones which have been naturally fermented in brine). Good luck!

This was a fabulous dessert Sammy and Bella. I’m so pleased you’ve published it, because I’ve tried to explain all the elements, but I haven’t been doing it justice. I think I’d happily eat a bowl of mushroom dirt on its own. It’s got veggies in it – it must be good for you!
